exactly as they wrote it, down to the slant and the pressure of the pen.

We work from a photo or scan of the original. It does not need to be perfect ;
send us what you have and we'll tell you honestly whether it will engrave well.
WHY HANDWRITING ENGRAVES SO WELL
Laser engraving follows a line exactly. Every loop, break and uneven stroke
comes through in the brass. This isn't a handwriting-style font — it's their
actual writing, reproduced at the size of a coin you can close your hand
around.
HOW TO ORDER
1. Choose one-sided or two-sided engraving.
2. In the Personalization box, tell us what you'd like engraved and where.
3. Send a photo or scan of the handwriting as an Etsy message right after
checkout. Lay the paper flat, use natural light, and photograph it straight
on from above.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
• 1 custom engraved solid brass coin
• 1 soft suede pouch
The coin arrives in the suede pouch. A separate gift box is not included.

• Solid brass, brushed satin finish
• 1.57 in / 40 mm across, 0.12 in / 3 mm thick
• Raised rim and a milled (reeded) edge
• Laser engraved — cut into the metal, not printed. It won't rub off or fade.
• Engraving appears in a darker bronze tone against the brushed brass
